- Washing: Hand-wash your fleece garment in a large tub or bath with cold or lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Avoid excessive rubbing to preserve the quality of the polyester.
- Rinsing: Rinse fleece thoroughly several times to ensure all soap is removed.
- Spin: Avoid wringing or squeezing the fleece to remove excess water, as this can damage the fabric. Instead, press gently to remove excess water.
- Drying: Dry the fleece flat on a clean surface, avoiding exposure to direct sunlight or intense heat, as this can damage the polyester.
- Ironing: Avoid direct ironing of polyester fleece, as heat can damage the material. Most fleeces do not need to be ironed, but if necessary, iron at a low temperature, using a thin cloth as protection.
- Storage: Store fleece in a clean, dry place, away from moisture. Avoid compressing it to preserve its shape.
